지난 10월 8일 하교 후에 선생님과 리더 학생들이 함께하는 리더십 훈련을 가졌습니다. 본교에서 자원봉사를 하려면 자원자 중에서 9학년 이상으로 본교 졸업생 중심으로 5-10명 내외를 선발합니다. 9학년 때부터 4년째 자원봉사를 하고 있는 장성민 학생을 포함하여 전체 7명의 학생들이 자원봉사를 하고 있습니다.
자원봉사 학생들은 2015-2016학년도 개강 이후 지난 한 달간 자원봉사를 하면서 느꼈던 점을 나누고 앞으로 1년간 해야 할 일들을 논의하였습니다. emergency 상황에서 학생들과 함께 자신을 보호할 수 있도록 대피하는 방법, 학생 사이에 왕따 방지, 수상한 사람이 왔을 때 대처 방법 등에 관해서도 나누었습니다. 선생님들은 자원봉사의 정신을 잘 발휘하여 학생들을 도우려 하면 배울 점이 많을 것이라고 조언하였습니다.
앞으로도 분기에 1회씩 만나서 교실에서 학생들을 바르게 이끄는 방법, 가르칠 때 교수 방법 등도 배워서 역량 있는 리더로 발전할 수 있도록 할 것입니다. 리더십 훈련을 위해 간식을 준비해 주신 노현우 부모님께 감사합니다.

How to be a good volunteer
- Be courteous and respectful.
- Set a good example for students: respectful language, proper dress code and conduct, no alcohol, tobacco or drug
- Be punctual and reliable. Volunteers are most helpful when they can be counted on. If you can’t make it for your shift or will be late, please call your teacher in advance
- Keep confidential information confidential. As a volunteer, you may learn confidential information about the students including grades, behaviors and disciplinary actions, and more. It is critical that you keep that information confidential, and not divulge it, even to friends or family.
