다솜 학부모님들께:
안녕하십니까? 코로나바이러스 소식이 하루하루 다르게 들려와서 저희 다솜한국학교에서도 보건당국의 지침과 지역사회 확산에 관한 뉴스를 계속 들으면서 앞으로 학생들을 위한 방안이 무엇인가를 긴급 교사회의와 이사회와의 공조를 통해 고민하고 있습니다. 지난 3월 2일 월요일에 안내문을 보내 드렸는데 오늘 또 다시 부모님들께 다음과 같이 공지를 합니다. 앞으로 변동되는 사항에 관해서는 매주 알려드리겠습니다. 학부모님들의 협조와 격려에 미리 감사드립니다. 감사합니다.
- 3월 7일 수업은 휴업하겠습니다. 한국학교의 목적은 학생과 교사와 커뮤니티가 만나서 한국어와 한국 역사 문화를 함께 배우는 것이 매우 중요함을 저희 교사들은 잘 인식하고 있습니다. 동시에 학생들의 건강과 안전이 최우선시되어야 할 것이므로 어려운 결정을 내렸습니다.
- 학생들은 이메일로 과제를 받게 됩니다. 학교 수업이 없는 대신에 가정에서 과제를 충실히 하도록 부모님들께서 도와주십시오.
- 앞으로의 상황에 관해서는 질병 통제국과 산타클라라 보건 당국의 지침 및 산호세한인장로교회 지침을 바탕으로 계속 업데이트를 하겠습니다.
- 3월 중에 장기간 휴업을 할 수밖에 없는 상황이 발생하는 경우에는 대체 수업 등을 검토하고 있습니다. 대책 없이 휴업하는 것은 아님을 알려드립니다.
- 3월 7일 휴업하는 동안에 교사들은 출근하여 대체 수업 등에 관하여 연수회를 실시할 예정입니다.
- 가정에서도 위생에 온 힘을 쏟아주시고 강건하시고 자녀들과 한국어도 계속 사용해 주십시오.
- The school will be closed and all classes will be canceled on March 7th. While the mission of Dasom Korean School is to provide Korean language, history, and culture education to our students, the safety and well-being of our students and community is of primary importance, so we made a difficult decision to temporarily cancel classes.
- Students will receive their assignments by email. Please encourage your child/children to do their homework diligently even though they are not at school.
- We are closely monitoring the guidance published by public health authorities including the Center for Disease Control and the Santa Clara Public Health Department, and cooperating with San Jose Korean Presbyterian Church. We will soon share our thoughts and plans for the near term.
- If we cannot have classes on our campus in March, we will consider holding classes in alternative ways.
- Instead of having classes on March 7, our teachers will have an internal meeting to prepare alternative classes if we cannot have on-campus classes in March.
- Please take care of your hygiene at home and continue to use Korean language with your children.
